Celebrity divorce in Hollywood seems inevitable, just like death, once the marriage happens, people start calculating the number of years or months it would last. It’s Friday and there is one celebrity divorce news on the table. Kaley Cuoco and her husband, Karl Cook, have announced that they are ending their marriage after three years. They made the announcement by releasing the usual celebrity split statement.
According to Karl Cuoco, 35, and Karl Cook, they are going “opposite directions.” PageSix says that Kaley and Karl let them know in a joint statement that they are no longer interested in their marriage and are calling it quits after three years.
Here is their joint statement published by PageSix:
“Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions. We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary.
We have made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further.”
The couple, now ex-lovers say there is no anger or animosity or drama over their decision to call it quits and I hope it stays so and does not turn into a messy divorce case as it has been happening over the years. I think moving forward, couples, especially celebrity couples should draft a contract and put in there the duration of the marriage before saying the big “Yes I Do” on the altar.
Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook started dating in 2016 and then got engaged in 2017 and then sealed things up with marriage on June 30, 2018.
People Magazine took us back to June this year when Karl Cook and Kaley Cuoco celebrated their third wedding anniversary on their respective Instagram pages. Kaley hopped on Instagram, dropped an old photo of herself and Karl, and then added:
“NY, June 30th ,2016 is the year we met. 2 years to the day before we got married and now 3 years married! Why have you stayed married to me for so long?! I’m sincerely impressed @mrtankcook lol I love you oh so much you have no idea …happy anniversary!!! ❤️❤️❤️”.
Karl Cook also posted a photo of Kaley on his Instagram page and let everyone know how he’s amazed to have been married to her for good three years.
“I agree @kaleycuoco I am just as amazed it’s been been three years, feel like just a flash. I love you so much and I can’t wait for a million more years!!”
The million years more isn’t happening anymore since they are splitting and going their separate paths. A quick question, when is Kanye West and Kim Kardashian finalizing their divorce—which I believe is a big stunt?
