Ed Sheeran Is Done With COVID-19 Quarantine And Will Perform On ‘Saturday Night Live’

Somewhere last week, there were reports that Edward Christopher Sheeran MBE also known as Ed Sheeran had caught COVID-19 and gone into quarantine a day after he was announced as a performer on “Saturday Night Live”. But there is good news for the viewers of ‘SNL’ as Ed Sheeran has been cleared to perform on the Show after completing his quarantine.

Ed Sheeran will appear on the “Saturday Night Live” show that is set to be hosted by Kieran Culkin. Ed Sheeran announced on his Instagram page that he is now cleared and will make an appearance on the show. Fans of the “SNL” should watch out for the 30-year-old singer and songwriter.

Ed Sheeran hopped on Instagram, posted a picture of himself, and then let everyone know that he is finally done with quarantine and will make an appearance on the “Saturday Night Live” show this weekend.

Here is what Ed Sheeran wrote on his Instagram page:

“Posting this pic to say I’m released from covid isolation today, so if you see me out and about I’ve had the all clear and done my quarantine. Excited to hit the ground running with work again, and SNL is still on, so tune in Saturday, see you there x  📸 @nicminns“.

Ed Sheeran catching COVID-19 did not only force him to cancel his appearance on “Saturday Night Live”, but it also forced him to cancel other shows and interviews as well. Now that he is fully recovered from COVID-19, he is likely to be on these missed shows and interviews to promote his currently released fourth studio album titled “=” (Equals).

This “=” album is obviously one of the best albums of Ed Sheeran because when announcing the album in August this year, he disclosed that it’s a personal record and means a lot to him. According to Ed Sheeran, he reflected in the course of the album on getting married, becoming a father, experiencing loss, and his life changing greatly over the past few years.

Ed Sheeran’s fourth studio album contains 14 tracks and according to him, he sees the album as a coming-of-age record and couldn’t wait to share the next chapter of his life with his fans. The album was out on Friday and it’s available on all streaming platforms.
