Happily saying yes to the proposal of the love of your life doesn’t necessarily mean the relationship will end up in marriage or anything serious. Hollywood, there is yet another celebrity split—and it’s Blake Moynes and Katie Thurston. The couple has ended their relationship three months after their engagement and according to them, they are not compatible as life partners.
Katie Thurston hopped on Instagram and let everyone know that she and Blake Moynes have mutually parted ways after realizing that they are not compatible as life partners. Katie in her Instagram post wants people to respect their decision, support it and allow them some privacy as they “navigate this transition”.

“It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways. We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently. We ask for kindness and privacy as we both navigate this transition. Both of us will forever want the best for one another and ask you to please support us in our decision.”
Three months ago, Katie and Blake were so much in love that Katie had to say a big yes to Blake’s proposal which was aired on the season 16 ‘Bachelorette’ finale—and now, they say they are not compatible as life partners? What could have led to the sudden breakup of their engagement? Did Blake cheat on Katie? Did Katie see something she hates so much in Blake after their engagement?
Blake Moynes also took to his Instagram, posted a picture of himself with Katie with all smiles, and posted the same message Katie posted on her page.
Prior to the couple ending their relationship, Katie Thurston hopped on her Instagram Story and voiced out the challenges in being in a long-distance relationship. From what Katie said in her Story, she wasn’t really comfortable in a long-distance relationship with Blake and this could be the reason behind the couple calling off their engagement.
Katie Thurston in her Instagram Story spoke about the rules in a long-distance relationship and the challenges in getting visas to regularly see each other. I understand Katie, it’s not easy making a long-distance relationship work but it all depends on the couple. If the couple really wants it to work, they will go all out and stick to each other to overcome all hurdles to make it work.
Katie Thurston is probably the one uncomfortable with being in a long-distance relationship and I wouldn’t be surprised to read in the news in a few days to come that she was the one who called off their engagement.
