Wedding bells already ringing? Despite fighting with her father, Jamie Spears, in court to get out of the 13-year conservatorship and be herself, Britney Spears and her boyfriend, Sam Asghari want an engagement ‘badly’ according to a source. Britney Spears probably wants to be engaged to the love of her life, have her IUD removed, and start making babies.
Entertainment Tonight is reporting that Britney Spears and Sam Asghari who started dating after meeting in October 2016 on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video where he played her love interest in the visual really want to be engaged ‘badly’ and probably seal their relationship with marriage.
According to ET’s source:
“Britney and Sam are an end game couple. But for them, it’s all about timing. All of their dreams for their relationship have been on pause due to the conservatorship. They haven’t been able to progress like a normal, adult couple. It’s like dating in high school. That’s been their experience for the last two years or so.
Things are finally looking up and it’s starting to become very real for them that soon they’ll be able to take back the reins and have full control as a couple. They are ready to embrace that next chapter, and love each other without limits or without feeling like they are on a leash. Naturally, an engagement is the next step.”
ET’s source also adds that:
“It’s never been a question of, ‘Will it happen?’ It’s always been about when. They’re finally getting closer to the ‘when’ thanks to Britney’s conservatorship suit yielding in her favor. It’s all very real for Sam especially, and engagement is on his mind now more than ever. He and Britney want that badly. They want the whole family thing too. It’s just a matter of timing.”
ET’s source could be right because according to TMZ, Britney’s boyfriend, Sam Asghari, was papped shopping for a wedding ring at Cartier in Beverly Hills.
Now, TMZ is connecting the dots and making sense out of Sam checking a ring and even taking a picture of a particular ring in the jewelry case at Cartier in Beverly Hills since Britney Spears made it clear in court in June this year that she’s got marriage on her mind and would love to settle down. And it’s the very reason she wants her dad out and take full control of her life and start her own family with Sam who’s been by her side these years.
Y’all get your dresses ready because it seems a celebrity wedding might be happening in the coming months—and it wouldn’t be any other celebrity than Britney Spears and Sam Asghari.
